Senators Issue Ultimatum to NPR After 'Ethical Failure'

Following a series of controversies, National Public Radio (NPR) is drawing scrutiny from multiple U.S. senators who are criticizing the publicly funded network for its significant "ethical lapses" and apparent left-leaning political bias.

The senators are voicing their concerns after NPR appointed staunch left-wing activist Katherine Maher to a leadership role within the organization. One of Maher's initial actions was to penalize an editor who had publicly criticized NPR for compromising its journalistic integrity in favor of promoting a left-wing agenda.

On Monday, Senator Kevin Cramer of North Dakota penned a letter addressed to the network wrote, "We have deep concerns regarding the editorial direction under NPR's national leadership," according to Fox News.
