Prominent Democrat Official Arrested For Burglary

A Democratic lawmaker from Minnesota was arrested on Monday for allegedly traveling a considerable distance to break into someone else's home.

State Sen. Nicole Mitchell, who represents Woodbury near the Twin Cities, was apprehended by police on suspicion of first-degree burglary in Detroit Lakes, over 220 miles away from her district.
