Holocaust Babies

A Polish midwife named Stanislawa Leszcynska delivered over 3,000 babies at the Auschwitz concentration camp during the Holocaust. The camp was located in Poland. 

Toilet Paper Troubles

Toilet paper was rationed during the war. British soldiers received three sheets per day, while the Americans got twenty-two. We’re not sure how they made it work. 

Underage Soldier

The youngest soldier in the US military was 12 years old. Calvin Graham lied about his age when he enlisted in the US Navy. His age was only discovered after he was wounded in battle.
